As a concierge, HoneyGuide will:Best Time to Go: October-December and April-May Entry Point: Lukla/ Flight from Kathmandu Exit Point: Lukla/Flight to Kathmandu
Trail condition: The trail is mostly well defined. Also, if it snows, it might be difficult to navigate as there are few people along this route.
Accommodation: During the trip, you will stay in lodges with great facilities and warm Sherpa hospitality. Most of the lodges are equipped with WiFi, hot shower and extensive food menu. However, finding lodges during peak season (October) can be challenging if you don’t book in advance.
Risks: The trek is considered to be physically challenging due to the altitude (above 5,000 meters) and risk of AMS. Thus to avoid AMS, you will take a gradual climbing in a well-navigated path. Also, it is recommended for you to take a rest day in Namche and Gokyo for acclimatization. Consult with locals before traversing high passes as weather can change the momentum of the trek anytime.
Route Variations: It is also possible to do this trek in a clockwise way too.
Notes: Please note that this is a self-guided trek. Hence, you can customize this trek to your preference. Feel free to add lodges, side trips and sightings to your liking. So, what are you waiting for?
