Tour Officer

As a tour officer, your key responsibility is to make sure that all travelers go home happy and satisfied with the service provided by HoneyGuide.

Job Description
  • Assist in collecting prices and service levels from service providers.
  • Book services for travelers, including flights, hotels, guides, and vehicles.
  • Ensure effective communication between travelers and service providers.
  • Troubleshoot issues that might arise during the tour.
  • Maintain accounts and facilitate payments for service providers.
  • Ensure that travelers go home happy and satisfied with HoneyGuide and provide us with great reviews.
  • Oversee interns who might be helping with bookings and tour management.
Qualification
  • Education qualification will not be a barrier for deserving candidates.
  • Must have between one to three years of experience in tourism, preferably as a tour officer.
  • Priority will be given to candidates who have been to the Everest Region.
Offer
  • Base Salary: 20,000 per month
  • We will also provide you with a bonus per tour managed based on the traveler's reviews and ratings.

Tour Consultants

As a tour consultant, your primary job is to help travelers figure out the best way to run tours through HoneyGuide.

Job Description
  • Promptly respond to traveler inquiries either through email, phone calls, or social media platforms.
  • Help travelers put together the ideal tour that fits their budget, fitness, and availability.
  • Convert inquiries into sales.
  • Work with tour officers to make sure that travelers that go through HoneyGuide have a fantastic experience.
Qualification
  • Must be proficient in written and spoken English and Nepali. Conversational Hindi will be a big bonus.
  • Must have traveled to the mountains of Nepal, preferably including the Everest Region. Must be knowledgeable about routes, weather, gear, risks, and other essential issues while traveling to the Nepal Himalayas.
  • Must be persuasive without being pushy. 
  • Must have worked in sales, preferably in the tourism sector, for one to two years.
Offer
  • Work hours are pretty flexible for this position. However, we provide a better bonus structure for those who work full time.
  • If you wish to work full time, your base salary will be Rs. 10,000 per month. However, your primary source of income will come from the sales bonus. ;)
