CHHEPLUNG - Look beyond the lodges

    Chheplung village is the perfect model for how the trail is going to be until one enters the National Park; lodges after lodges after lodges, with the monotony broken by teashops.

    Look out for the Rangdo Gompa perched precariously next to a rock wall here. Ask around at the lodges for the key if you intend to visit. As in all monasteries a small donation is expected.

    There is also the Toto White Medical Clinic constructed by the Koreans at Chheplung.
