However, right now the local authorities are going in the direction of gradually opening up with safety protocols in place.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3><strong>How much will the PCR test cost, and how can I do it?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you go to the lab, the PCR Test is going to cost NPR 2,000 while for Home PCR Tests it costs NPR 3,000-4,000. <del>We work exclusively with <a href=\"http:\/\/centraldiagnosticlabs.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Central Diagnostic Laboratory<\/a> for all of our PCR Tests. For example, between Dingboche and Lobuche we have added an extra day at Thukla even though Thukla is only 2 hours from Dingboche. Also, on the way to Gokyo, we have put two days at Machhermo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Given that Nepalis do not have access to travel insurance with search and rescue, it is up to all of us to minimize risks as we travel and enjoy the high mountains.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Will I need to get travel insurance?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Travel Insurance is highly recommended.
