It leads you to the last forbidden kingdom of Lo-Manthang, where the secludedness from outside world up until a few decades back, has contributed to preserving the authenticity and culture. Upper Mustang is very rich in culture, landscapes, ancient cave complex, monasteries and amusing tales of history, that can leave one speechless. The vastness yet being unexplored to the fullest. The trekking trail serves with beautiful barren landscapes, red cliffs, caves, chortens, buckwheat fields, hospitable people in small village settlements, horses, mountains left far behind in the south.
